Comrie Community Fire Station Charity Car Wash – Saturday 13th September
Comrie Community Fire Station will be holding a charity car wash in support of The Fire Fighters Charity on Saturday 13th September, between 10am and 2pm.
All nine firefighters from the station will be on hand to wash your car—there’s no minimum donation, so just come along, and we’ll do the rest!
The Fire appliance will also be on display for anyone who’d like to take a look around and learn more about the equipment we use in our role.
Several Comrie firefighters have benefited from the support of The Fire Fighters Charity. Most recently, one of our firefighters attended two weeks of rehabilitation following ankle surgery at one of the Charity’s purpose-built centres in the Lake District. His tailored programme included physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, fitness sessions, and wellbeing guidance, helping him recover faster and return to operational duties sooner than expected.

The Fire Fighters Charity supports serving and retired fire and rescue personnel, their families, and eligible members of the UK fire services community. Through a blend of digital, face-to-face, and community-based programmes, the Charity delivers specialist support for both physical and mental health.
