In this session, staff will guide your learning experience by helping you explore and understand various resources like Ancestry, Scran, and NLS Maps. Additionally, staff will show you how to use the British Newspaper Archive search function effectively.
By the end of the event, you’ll have a solid understanding of how your chosen website works, gaining valuable insights and confidence.
Family and Local History is a growing field with vast and complex online resources. This session will help you navigate these tools effectively.

The event will consist of six, 30-minute one-to-one sessions from 10am to 1pm. Tickets for the sessions are £2.50 each and are available from the library.
