Aberfeldy Repair Cafe | Volunteer Drive

For six wonderful years, the Aberfeldy Repair Café has been a place where neighbours help neighbours, where broken items find new life, and where community comes together over a cup of tea. They've fixed hundreds of items, saved countless pounds, and kept treasured possessions out of landfill.

Recently, a few of their dedicated volunteers have moved away or had to step back for personal reasons, and without new volunteers this vital community service is at risk. They meet once a month and are looking for people who can help keep our Repair Café running. Services they need to cover include...

• Repair items - electricians, woodworkers, tech whizzes, or anyone with hands-on skills
• Help with admin - greeting visitors, managing the sign-in
• Bake - simple traybake or cookies to offer with tea and coffee
• Make tea and coffee - keep our visitors and volunteers refreshed and create that welcoming atmosphere

The Repair Café isn't just about fixing things - it's about building community, reducing waste and creating connections. It's about the smile on someone's face when their beloved radio or family heirloom works again, or the conversation over a cuppa with a neighbour you've just met.
