Tri and have fun

For the sixth time, Perth Triathlon Club is organising Relay Will.

Club president Ashleigh McManus explains:
“Relay Wild is a team triathlon event. Each person in a team of 4 completes a mini triathlon, a swim bike run, before tagging their next team member who then does the same.”
Each person completes a 200m pool swim, a 5.8km on road cycle and a 1.2km run. The grounds of Kilgraston school provide a fantastic base for the event.
Ashleigh continues…
“We haven't organised this event for a few years now and we hope it can be as much of a success as it has been previously. It’s a great introduction to multi-sport for those who haven’t tried before and also a challenge for those more experienced. But most of all it’s a very enjoyable family day out and about having fun, whether you’re competing or spectating!”
“We’re also hosting a free kids fun run in the school grounds before the main event and children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite wild animal!”
The event is on Sunday 11th August, and costs £96 for a team of 4, £24 per person. Prizes will be awarded for winning teams and you must be aged 17 or over by 31st December this year. See https://www.entrycentral.com/RelayWild for more details or email: perthtrievents@gmail.com.
Non Triathlon Scotland members will be required to purchase a Race Licence for the day. More information about this and a video showcasing the event can found on our events Web page: https://www.perthtriclub.com/events
