Football fitness project kicks off in Crieff

Strathearn United are a new community club for those looking to improve their physical and mental wellbeing through football.

The club train weekly at the Strathearn Community Campus in Crieff, from 7pm.

Not only does Strathearn United offer an encouraging support network, but they aim to play competitive football in the Scottish Warriors League from 2025. To play in the Scottish Warriors League, players need to have a minimum body mass index (BMI) of 30, a minimum waist size of 38”, be 18 years or older and not be affiliated to another team. The only slight exceptions in terms of the league are goalkeepers, who are exempt from the BMI and waist criteria.

If you don't fit the criteria, or don't feel comfortable playing in the league, training is still open to everyone.
